The Align M480 will be the first professional quad copter from Align that cater for demand in the specialist aerial photography platform for both amateurs and professionals. Diagonal 800mm in quadcopter configuration, this UAV can carry a 3 axes G3 or GH-G3-5D gimbal for demanding professionals.

The new Align M480L is among the light weight in its class, foldable and has an efficient design allowing for long flight times with high payload. This kit comes with everything you need to get up and flying, just add a transmitter, receiver and battery and it is good to go for flying. It comes with robust automatic retractable landing gear ready for full 360 degree aerial cinematography applications.

The M480L is an adaptable Multi rotor, it comes configured with 4 motors swinging 15 inch foldable high efficiency props. In this configuration it can carry a full G3 Slipring gimbal with Mirrorless DSLR cameras such as the Panasonic GH4 for 9 minutes on a single 6s 5200mah pack.

If you want to carry something heavier like a Canon D5? No problems just simply change to the M690 arms, add two motors and ESC’s to the M480L to upgrade it to an M690 900mm heavy lift Hexacopter without needing to buy a whole new rig.

If you need more flight time? The M480L can carry up to 12000mah for flight times approaching 20 minutes with payload.

For sport flyers the M480L without gimbal will fly for up to 20 minutes on a single 6s 5200mah battery making it the ideal aircraft for blistering long range FPV fun or just tearing up the sky at the local field.

The current market size of the multicopter market, the competitor has won a big market share with it’s ranges of professional market. Now they will have to face their most powerful competitor the Align m480, maybe the multicopter market will change a bit too due to the fact that the price is 50% cheaper than its competitor products in its range.

The M480 adopts Align’s brushless motors, thus producing good efficiency, power saving. The hovering time will be as long as 20 minutes, and the performance will be better than its competitor, just like Align’s other products, high quality with acceptable price. The gimbal parts, it adopts G2 3 axis brushless gimbal which is compatible with gopro hero 3 action camera.

It also comes with APS-M flight controller which has high performance and sensitivity, it supports different multicopters and different control mode, all these will be a big challenge for competitor when its available in Malaysia market.
